The Lancefield Football Club 1873-2023 - 2nd Edition

The Lancefield Football-Netball Club celebrated its 150th anniversary this year.

Marking this significant occasion, we are proud to launch our history,  “The Lancefield Football Club: 1873-2023” was launched at a game against our traditional rival with the Lancefield players wearing replica jumpers. This book has been put together by local volunteers who have a passion for our small town’s history. As you are well aware, football clubs such as ours are often the unifying force in many towns – large and small.

The history of the Football Club and the town are inextricably linked, and any profits from the sale of the book will be used to create a professional storage system for our Club (and towns) historical records and memorabilia.
